DISCOVER THE HEART OF YOUR CITY,
DISCOVER YOUR TEAM...DISCOVER YOURSELF

"Approximately 1 of every 3 employees reported lack of support from their co-workers (33.3%) and 1 in 6 low support from their supervisors (16.6%)."
 Statistics Canada Health Report.

What can you do about it?

How can a game make your dream team come to life?

The Amazing Discovery of Winnipeg is a fun/adventurous way to explore the city, uncover clues, solve puzzles, and build your dream team.

By using the "Winnipeg Version" of the award-winning reality television show, the Amazing Race, participants will:

- strengthen team management and leadership skills
- plan and strategize their approach
- practice effective communications
- work with different personalities
- contribute effectively to a team
- learn little known facts about the city
- reduce stress
- race the clock
- and have loads of fun!

How does it work?
The adventure begins with a brief gathering, in which team members will start to discover themselves and break into teams.

Then what happens?
Teams will be given a mystery location where they will begin their excursion and scavenger hunt.  Clues will help them uncover the mystery of various sites in downtown Winnipeg and the French Quarter.  Through team building, they will learn history, intrigue and little known facts - such as the first skyscraper in Western Canada, the location of Banker's Alley and a building known as "the cake".  By piecing the clues together and using their scavenger hunt skills, team members will take themselves to a secret location where they will complete a task.

The adventure can last from 4 hours to a full day.  It may include special team building awareness activities to kick start the day and a wrap up for the next steps.  (This is fun, but what does it mean when we get back to reality?)

Team sizes vary from 3 to 5 people, with a maximum of 6 teams.

Some locations may include - The Forks, Manitoba Legislative Building, The Exchange, The French Quarter, and The Osborne Village area.

Who puts it on?
The adventure includes an on-site "Discovery Master" who is a management training expert, professional speaker and long time local resident of Winnipeg.

What is the cost?
Pricing will be determined by the length of time of team activities and number of participants - with a minimum of $25 per person for a 4 hour session.
